Godly Play
 Godly Play is an integral part of our Sunday and Wednesday educational program for our parish children. Godly Play uses a Montessori approach to invite children to become active participants in our story and ritual so that they may learn the language, sacred stories, parables, liturgical action, and silence in our Christian tradition.
At Holy Family, this learning experience is facilitated by teams of two teachers per Sunday or Wednesday. Our multi-generational approach pairs an adult with a teen. Our hope is to have enough interested teams of teachers so that each pair will serve once a month. Teachers will be trained in telling the story with kid friendly materials specifically designed for that day’s teaching.
In order to make this ministry effective, we need people who are willing to share our sacred heritage with our children as teachers. We ask that you prayerfully consider this important ministry. It is a tangible way of helping our next generation become more fully aware of the mystery of God’s presence in We will have this wonderful program on Sunday and on Wednesday evenings at our Wednesday Parish night.
